Kortyx Legal Notice and Operator Information

Legal information for the Kortyx website.

Updated

Contents6 sections

1. Kortyx and contact information

Kortyx is the name used for the website, software and hosted services described in this notice. You can contact Kortyx through the following channels.

ContactEmail
Legal and privacylegal@kortyx.io
Securitysecurity@kortyx.io

2. Service descriptions and separate documents

Kortyx develops software and offers a hosted Cloud service. The legal documents for the different activities serve different purposes:

DocumentSubject
Website TermsPublic website use, materials, Documentation and external links
Website Privacy and Software Telemetry NoticeWebsite processing and telemetry actually received from distributed software
Cookies and Storage NoticeBrowser mechanisms, purposes, expiry and optional choices
Cloud TermsThe hosted-service contract, account authority, permitted data and exit arrangements
Cloud Privacy NoticeAccount, operational, communications and other processing for which Kortyx determines purposes
DPAProcessing of personal data in customer content on customer instructions
Subprocessor ListVerified providers appointed for that customer-content processing and change procedures

Current document links provide convenient access to the applicable publication. Permanent version links preserve historical text. Viewing or downloading a document does not record contractual acceptance.

3. Distributed software and intellectual property

The SDK, self-hosted Studio and other distributed components have their own licenses. Those licenses govern the rights granted for the relevant version, including any conditions on modification, distribution or use. The hosted Cloud agreement does not silently replace them.

A self-hosted installation is operated by the person or organization responsible for that deployment. Kortyx is not automatically its hosting provider or controller of all information in it. Any product telemetry sent to Kortyx must be described according to the actual software behavior.

The name and marks “Kortyx” identify the relevant product or rights holder. The public repository identifies framework/API/CLI, examples, website and repository tooling as Apache-2.0, Studio’s interface as Elastic License 2.0, and plugins under their included licenses. Directory-specific and third-party notices control where applicable. These licenses do not grant a general trademark permission.

4. Communications and requests

Use the legal/privacy channel for questions about these documents, contractual notices and privacy requests. Use the security channel for suspected vulnerabilities or incidents. Do not send passwords, authentication codes, private keys or unnecessary customer data with a request.

Free-tier product support is provided through the community channel identified on the website. That product-support model does not require privacy or security concerns to be posted publicly and does not remove applicable complaint-handling duties.

The legal and security addresses route to Kortyx’s Google Workspace mailbox. They are private request channels, without an additional contractual product-support response-time guarantee.

5. Commercial and regulatory information

Cloud v1 is intended to be a free service without a contractual uptime SLA. A future paid offering requires the appropriate price, tax, billing, renewal and purchase disclosures before a customer commits. This notice does not announce a paid plan or authorize automatic conversion.

No certification, regulatory authorization, regulated professional status or independent audit approval is claimed by this notice. Any future statement must identify the actual holder, scope, issuer and current validity. Availability to customers in an industry is not a claim that every regulated data category is supported.

Kortyx does not claim a regulated-profession authorization, trade-association membership or voluntary dispute-resolution accreditation. Applicable operator and consumer particulars must identify the actual person or entity responsible for the service.

6. Complaints, applicable rights and document updates

Questions or complaints may be sent to the legal contact, without affecting a person's right to approach a competent authority or court. Applicable law, forum and contractual remedies are addressed in the relevant agreement; this operator notice does not impose a separate worldwide forum waiver.

For privacy matters, the applicable privacy notice explains rights and supervisory-authority complaints. Where applicable consumer law requires information about a dispute-resolution body for a particular complaint, Kortyx will provide the relevant current information. This notice does not represent participation in an unidentified voluntary scheme.

Operator details must be updated when the responsible entity, address, registration or contact arrangements change. Current disclosures must remain accurate, while historical contractual documents and acceptance evidence retain their original identity. Updating this notice does not by itself transfer a contract, activate new Cloud Terms or record anyone's acceptance.
